It's ironic that I should feel so cold today.
I hope it doesn't last too long.
I enjoy believing time to have varied speeds,
Slowing down with you,
And picking pace without.
But it's got to be the most cruel joke,
That the exact opposite must happen.
I'm sure only one more day wouldn't have helped,
But that's all I could ask for yesterday,
When I looked up and prayed real hard.
Just one more day.
