So it was another murky morning,
And it really didnt look like things would change,
But as I was walking down the slopes,
Something changed....it really did,
A sedan sped past me,
The rashness of the female driver didnt annoy me,
The sun started shining all of a sudden.
There was a voice that brought joy,
The sun and the gentle drizzling only added to it.
I could have sworn I saw my first rainbow in Ithaca,
But it may have actually been colours I like.
The voice I hear quite often now,
Probably rings in my ears even when I dont listen to it,
But the dulcets from far sure keep me alive,
While I roll on my bed and wait for the murky morning again.
